What UT requires of West Valley City drivers

What UT requires

The legal minimum is $30,000 for one person's injuries, $65,000 for all injuries in one crash, and $25,000 for property damage — written as 30/65/25.

These limits apply to policies written or renewed since January 1, 2025. Utah is also a no-fault state: personal injury protection of at least $3,000 per person is required.

If the other driver is at fault and carries only the minimum, their policy stops at those amounts. Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage is what pays you beyond that.
